What happens when the cameras stop rolling on Chelsea Lately on the E! Network? That is when the camera begin to roll for After Lately, a behind-the-scenes "mockumentary", also on E!

The cast features Chelsea Handler, but the stories usually involve her team of writers. Each of them have their own persona, but they all are long suffering members of Handler's team. Handler, of course, is the demanding, berating boss.

The third season opened with a focus group to test how the real show is doing. Everyone who is associated is fearful of the results, and comedy ensues. With that premise, the show would be pretty good. It is also, perhaps, over the top a little, but if you've ever seen Chelsea Lately, that is pretty much the norm.

Handler's rising celebrity gives her access to huge stars like Jennifer Anniston, Reese Witherspoon, and James Van Deer Beek. Witherspoon returns in the opener, trying to cheer Handler up, but winds up having a hilarious fight. The stars play along, usually, with good results. The show is geared for fans of Handler or "Chelsea Lately," but, if you like to have some good belly laughs, take a look at "After Lately".
